The Wolf's 07 CWP GS

Hey TM3 :)
I've been here around half a year, and figured it was time for me to make a member's ride thread.
I've had the car since September, and am SLOWLY making it mine. On my budget there's no way I'll be able to keep up with some of the guys/girls on here, so I'm not gonna even try, haha. My "theme" is gonna end up being a lot of red and gold... hopefully it turns out.

Mods:
-Removed side mouldings
-Eibach Pro-Kit springs
-CX7 Stubby Antenna
-6000k HID lows
-Eurolite yellow foglights
-Rally Armor Mudflaps
-Generic SRI
-Plasti-dipped OEM 16" rims
-Plasti-dipped emblems

Future Plans include:
-Rims
-Red tinted tails
-RHO Plate
-Painted Calipers
-Tint
-Spoiler

Also have yet to decide on what to do with my front bumper cover. It's cracked below the lower grill. I'm not sure if I want to replace the whole thing with OEM, or Autoexe replica from Nextmod. Also considering just leaving it cracked and putting a GV lip over the damage (should cover it completely according to photos I see).
Anyway, comments are welcome! Only one photo for now... I suck with cameras.

I have to say, I like the hatch without the rear spoiler.

If you are looking for an OEM spoiler or AE grill, let me know.

And I guess great minds think alike Hitesh, cause I'll be picking up gold 18's from simply tire soon, and I was planning on painting the calipers red :bigsmile

I'm actually located out in New Hamburg, that's probably part of it :)
I may have to stick with my 16's this summer due to a smaller than expected tax return. We shall see...

And I feel ya on the rims. I would have had mine on weeks ago, but license plate stickers, fender bender, and gas prices keep putting it off cause I still need tires. fingers crossed for Mays cheque and birthday money. Hope you get yours and some more pics with them!

anyway, here's the temporary grill treatment, until I can get it painted properly.
as you can probably see, fitment is a little off on the right side. Not sure how to fix that, but I'll work on it :)

it looks good from far, but it's far from good lol... Hopefully I can afford a real repaint soon.

In the next month or so I'm going to get my dad to help me weld up a RHO-style plate bracket.

I'm no longer going to be using my DAMD lip. So if anyone's interested...

Update time again. No more mods for the year, lol... I've exhausted my budget on these:

BBS RSII 023 (17x8 +45) and 024 (17x9 +45).
Apparently these are one of maybe 5 sets in North America.:headbang
Of course, the sizing means I'll likely have a lot of work to do to get them to fit... so I'll probably not be doing much else but trying to get these under my fenders.
The tires are Bridgestone's and are way too wide for the Mazda 3, so If anyone knows someone who wants 265/40/17 and 235/45/17's in great shape for CHEAP... well... get at me, dog.

These are going to be a full DIY refurb/rebuild/repaint project. There's some curb rash on two of the rims, and regular wear and tear. Without giving too much away, I have three refinishing options: STOCK, MILD, and WILD.

Will be trying to take lots of pictures and do a rebuild thread... but I make no promises.

I'm pessimistic, haha. I have to buy tires and bore them out before I even try to test fit them... and I'm out of money haha. I could work overtime though... Also I'm really trying to avoid rolling my fenders since it'll void my rust warranty... which for some reason bothers me a lot more than it maybe should lol

Lol, it actually might fit, I haven't checked yet. But it looks small. If it's all the same, I might just bore it to aftermarket size so they can fit over any hub.

Those are gonna look soo hawt, can't wait to see them all finished up, don't make us wait until next year!!!
