Well when I go to edit Avi I don't even see where I could click to upload anything... Guess I am still restricted ?

Avi's are not going to be accepted. It is supposed to be an image file, if you want an animation use a gif file. Also maxium size is 88000 bytes, and 125 * 125 pixels

go to settings. edit profile picture and either use
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website:

OR

Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer:

both are limited to Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 125 by 125 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

I'm new to this also! I have no IDEA how toget a profile pic, or anything the signatures, whatever post a photo or video. I have no idea? SFW helped me, but still confused lol 10 posts!!!

There are a certain number of posts you need before some of the above become functional. That is likely your issue (I think it is 10 so try again now that you posted this lol). The picture below your posts is a signature, which you can find the same way you did your profile picture. All you have to do differently is upload a picture to photobucket, flickr, etc. and copy the link into the signature box. However it has to be certain dimensions or it will be cut off. A mod may be able to mention what the specifics are.

From what I understand, your information won't show up underneath your avatar, it will only appear in your profile.
I used the signature line to include the basics, just in case it was helpful if I had a question.

go to edit profile > scroll to the bottom until you see other ride > go crazy

@ admins, can a member change his user name? My current user name won't work with my new ride (slickz09GT3) now I have a 2014 GT. I promise that my new name will not have an affiliation to my ride, now I know that its not a good idea

PM one of the admins directly, it is definitely possible as there's been a few members that have had their usernames changed.
