I suspect that you can't see everything a cop sees, but you can get information like owner and address.

Any Joe off the street cannot get Owner name and address...just vehicle/plate history. Joe Public used to be able to get them at the old kiosks with just plate information but that security hole was closed prior to the kiosks being scrapped.

You can receive information on a vehicle by ordering a Vehicle Record (also called a "vehicle abstract"). It is important to note that address information is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and is available to Authorized Requestors only.

Vehicle records ordered online do not contain information about current odometer readings, collision information, driver’s licence numbers, owner names or personal address information.

A certified driver record contains the same information as the uncertified record but will also be stamped with the ministry approved embossed seal.
