If OP doesnt post again anytime soon/ever, I'd personally say you should kill the thread. It could be a person to have an axe to grind (former employee or OLD feedback from a time before they made changes).

I have a feeling this guy is legit and it happened after Uni-body said they were changing how they do things. The OP said it ended up taking 4 weeks to do and since he's posting now, it must mean it was completed recently. So assume the job was completed after October 1st, it would mean Uni-body had the car since early September. Uni-body announced the changes on Aug. 26. This tells me nothing has changed! Also, it seems like the OP was starting to look for a body shop in August time frame. http://www.torontocivics.com/f15/whe...33/index3.html
What the OP has said was also consistent with what other members here have experienced as well. My friend too got burned by Uni-body when he had a complete kit painted and installed on his A3 last year. The paint was okay but the front lip fitment was very poor and left a lot of gap. He brought that issue up to them and they blamed the kit. My friend ended up bringing his car to PFAFF and he ended up paying an extra $150 I think to have the lip repainted and re-aligned. When he got his car back, there was no more gap and PFAFF told him that the front lip wasn't installed correctly and that's why there were gaps.
All in all, Uni-body talks a good game but can't seem to back that up.

This goes to show that a company's online reputation is so important. A high profile blogger or poster can really hurt a company no matter when it happened. This company really needs some damage control and address this issue ASAP. At least explain what happened and explain how it will improve things. This guy posted on at least 3 popular forums. This has to be affecting his business and reputation in a negative way. Hopefully this sponsor can turn things around in terms of service and reputation.
hey guys - this has been brought to my attention - there's been multiple (different?) reviews on various other sites and I have no idea what job / person / vehicle this is related to.
To be honest the vast majority CWP_Sedan's review was accurate and I took the steps to correct such problems - but now I'm seeing little reviews on other sites etc and they are all negative. I'm beginning to think someone is out to get me and hurt me with false negative feedback.
I know I don't have TM3's trust at the moment and that's fair considering what Ryan went through over here - and the door is still open for you Ryan if you wish to deal with me directly - but these reviews that are popping up have to be invalid because they're coming at me all at the same time from different sources (apparently).
I really don't know what to do here now - the shop is running excellent since I've taken over and now I get some random person (or persons) bashing me over the net and I can't do anything about it.
We are consistently busy and my customers walk away happy - I know this because I see this on a daily basis. Sorry I'm very frustrated here.
Also I apologize for not responding sooner. As I said I'm a very busy boy over here!

Well, on the Honda sites linked in an earlier post, on one of the sites he has a post count of 1 and the other a post count of 3. The one he has a post count of three, he signed up in March 2009. He only has a post count of three, but he was on the site today, and maybe he does have posts in non-counting threads In any case, it does seem that he hasn't just created accounts to trash UniBody...
On the three-post site his sig says that he has and Acura 1.7 EL, and he said that there was $3,800 worth of work, paid in cash. So you probably can figure out who this guy is and make things right for him (if he'll let you).

I'll gladly remedy any problems that may have occurred as per our guarantee. I don't know how many times I have to state this. I personally don't know of this job / client - I will have to confirm whether or not this is a legitimate customer of ours and I will indeed contact them to solve any problems they may have with us.
Thank for everybody's inputs.
I'll explain some points:
The problem with paint job from UniBody happened in October/2010.
I was completely down and followed UniBody ads all over the Internet, posting my REAL experience. Unfortunately, Google remove my feedback from Google Map without any notification.
Since that time I have an update!
I really appreciate that Rich@UniBody Collision came up with decision to re do car painting. He provided car rental for the time my car was in the shop.
Car painting was done all over again and this time - looks COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
Painting job was done in a 1.5 weeks.
Painting job is amazing! Car was cleaned in and out.
for all of you guys, who have concerns after my fist post I will give you a tip:
DEAL WITH RICH ONLY. Rich and ONLY is guy @UniBody Collision who would deliver the quality you expected.
November/2010
1.I have REAL experience with Sam@UniBody Collision
2. My problem happened in October/2010
3. Is Mazda paint job way different from Acura/Honda?
4. will be for you guys easier to get shitty painting without feedbacks?
UniBody Collision deals with ALL models, please, consider this fact.
well, I do appreciate that Moderator keeps my feedback and didn't delete at all as Google did at Google Map.
I have an update since that time!

Good luck with your next painting job!

Thank you for clarifying. It just seemed suspicious when someone posts 1 post bashing a sponsor, and then disappears.
Glad to have your feedback.

GONE: Apparently too many cars to list in the signature....

I would like to suggest to the owner of Unibody to please make sure the vehicles you deliver to a customer are CLEANED inside. I picked up a vehicle and it was not cleaned properly inside and the seats had what I think was paint on them. Not to mention white dust on the steering wheel from the mechanics. I also noticed that the part that was painted was not removed off the car but rather painted while still on the vehicle. I could tell where the taping was done without a close inspection. The quality of the work wasn't what I would have accepted had the car been mine but it was however was done.
