Wtf is cbi?
My plan was to order the kit and have it shipped to a us address. From your pics rj it seems the paint was improperly mixed.. Have you considered that it might have been a bad batch?
I will for sure be doing this next may and I will not be satisfied with anything less than perfect. Id scrap it and keep my car its original color if I couldnt get it right.
That said I also wouldn't give up after the 1 batch and I might even see if a paint store could mix me some plastidip as im fairly sure they sell the major ingredients with which you could mix and create any color.

ship ur tingz there. like plastidip etc.

You can't just mix plastidip with paint. It doesn't work like that. The rubber compount breaks down and turns into real paint at that point. And if you're going to ask about putting a clear coat over your plastidip, you can't do that either, unless you use the plastidip clear coat, which looks like shyte.
You can however, mix different colours of plastidip if you buy the non-aerosol plastidip (and yes you can buy this stuff in sizes smaller than gallon cans)

That sounded like mixing paint with plastidip, or trying to make your own version of plastidip.
Not sure what dipyourcar uses, but someone at Home Hardware told me you're supposed to be able to mix the normal cans of plastidip without issue (he wasn't very convincing though). I don't know if most (or any) paint stores sell dip, it's a coating that was designed for tools, which is why you find it in hardware stores. That rubber coating on your pliers and wire cutters, that's basically plastidip. That's what it was originally designed for.
If you want to make your own colours, they have a mix-it-yourself kit called "Create Your Colour". Found here: http://www.plastidip.com/home_soluti...Your_Color_Kit

Exactly what I was talking about. The point of my post is that you can mix plastidip IN SOME WAY WHICH I DO NOT KNOW and create other colors. Just because that says "mix" doesn't mean it's being mixed with paint.. Mix implied that you can obtain other colors using whatever ingredients provided by plastidip.

Well you said go to a paint store, and mix stuff. That pretty much requires paint since they don't sell anything else lol
Anywho, buy a Create Your Colour Kit and have some fun, I don't know if they come in larger sizes, I've never bothered looking into purchasing a kit. But I might for this winter come to think of it.
You can also buy Camo, Blaze Orange (looks more like red on the site lol), Blaze Blue, and Gunmetal.

I am going go likely do matte white, gray, or really light blue. But thats a ways away.. There might even be a better solution by then.

@$@#$#$ Wow way to much stuff here for me to answer, but yes I have real Dip Gallons coming in my door in a few weeks. RJ3, I found a chemical solution to fix the rubber chemical compound in any dip to make it thicker and not run.
Anyways way to many question here, have a headache looking for my phone. Here is the link to my thread on Plasti dip how to!
