no, not all the same.
Though from a Mazda Speed 6 it would work. As all Mazda AP's are cross functional.
Just ensure he unmarries it before selling to you.

When you plug it into your car, make sure there's an install option. Check the version as well.: )

What Loki said above... I believe the v1s logged slower, as far as I know. There's v2 and v2b now, last time I checked.

it's v2 and v2b .... there was no v1 Cobb AP for the ms3/6.

v2 has a dongle to connect to the OBD2 port connected by a micro USB cable to the AP and dongle.

v2b has a OBD2 cable with a connector on the AP to plug the cable into.
