yea i hope to hear from cobb today as i emailed them last night. ill keep u all posted
good luck mikey, hope it all works out
Just get those stuff that snotrocket had higlighted and all should be ok. Get as much documentation as you can then send to Cobb. Ask them if they will accept the documents that you send them before you send in your AP.
I didn't think anybody would actually buy that AP with all the hassle you had to go through. But hey, you know what to do now to make it work so it should be good. Good luck.
Start by calling them and seeing what they can do for you. Explain the entire situation to them. Let them know what documentation you have and can get and go from there. No point in getting frustrated or upset till you know all the facts. That's why I posted the stories about their customer service, to show you that they are reasonable people and may try to help you, if you are nice

Yup, that's what I said, CALL THEM. I couldn't even imagine how many back and forth emails it would take to get this resolved. Get your credit card out and get them on it,
Make sure to get an RMA and the form. Fill the form out and put the RMA number on the outside of the box.
If they say that they are going to do anything for you over the phone, ask them to confirm it via email.
That way you can have a hard copy of what they said they would do for you, just in case.
Preach on brother!!
Just imagine how loud the turbo is going to spool soon![]()
Epic...that is all

so with my remote starter at 6am today i started the car from my room, then i noticed after a few seconds it shut off... i tried again, it shut off.. when i went outside to see what was going on, everything looked normal. i got in and started it and it died. so for it to not shut off i had to hold the gas down to about 2500rpm.. until it got a little warm then it stayed on.. my engine light came on shortly after and it said p0300.. random misfire. when it was warmer outside i never had this problem. I'm not sure if its the 1 step colder plugs causing this effect but if someone has any idea that would be great. when i cleared the code i noticed there was absolutely no misfiring. only on start up it was being wierd. help!!!
Forgot to mention I'm not sure if this helps or not... i recently put in an injen cai, and test pipe so i have no cat in my dp or test pipe.. i need a cat so I'm gonna be putting in a high flow magna flow cat..
and I'm running stage 2 on the a/p
I've been looking on forums some ppl say injector seals, i don't think its that.. when i was holding the gas down a bit i did notice some noise with the idling (did sound like misfiring) but when the car was warm it went away.. I'm not sure if it has to be because of the test pipe i recently put in but if someone can explain if they have gone thru this before that would be great
anyone??? lol

Oh yea that crazy search engine thing again.
yea I've looked online there are so many different possibilities. i think its the plugs.. just have to figure out how to gap them properly as i do not know how too lol
Pretty easy to gap them but how did you install them without gapping them properly to begin with?
Super easy to gap plugs, just buy a tool from a shop and getter done!![]()
