hmmm... yeah, mix of multiple movies. Honestly from what I gathered from the trailer, the plot sounds like its straight out of a B (or C) movie. (Seriously... aliens coming from a portal at the bottom of the ocean?)
Not going to hold my breath for this one. (coming from a guy that loved movies like transformers)

i didn't take the "portal" reference to be literal, I thought he just meant they were beneath the ocean or something like that. reminded me of a piranha scenario kind of? looks iffy, but i'll probably end up watching this
