I know a few guys with 400-500hp derby cars that weld their diffs, and they held up no problem, they also use a 9 bolt rear end.

I understand welding a diff, but that's just funny as hell(also revealed as a joke)
And I hate when I see cars with cut springs, I have a buddy who has an old Jetta, guy before him, just cut the spring and left it on the car
