Mini meet with Team Mica at Hyper Install:
-zzz3 getting his camber arms installed (let's talk about that fsb )

Went to SP and got Hawk front brake pads installed and this race pipe. (Rear brake pads are still fine.)

I would have to say that the Hawk hps pads with OEM rotors are great. Didn't really notice a difference between Hawk HPS and OEM pads.
The test pipe is a Corksport and is a nice addition to my RB exhaust and CS sri. It added moar roar but still maintained the deep tone. Also no drone ftw.

I installed the Optima Yellow Top myself today. These batteries are heavy but I managed to get the OEM one out. This one is a perfect fit for my Mazda 3. Thanks to Dave2010GT for giving me some advice on the install via text message.

This battery will definitely be able to handle the electronics and audio system in my car.

If you are planning to install this yourself, here are a couple of tips.

The battery comes with a cover which should be placed under the battery so that it's the same height as the OEM one.


There is a bar that keeps the battery in place. The second arrow below shows where the yellow cover should be.

The cover going underneath I figured out myself. The other stuff Dave gave me good instructions. Lifting out that OEM battery was tough. The Optima battery has a nice handle.

hey jackal, first off, sweet ride!

Got a question ... what did u use to cover up the bumper holes after switching to RHO plates? I know some members were able to find hole covers from Home Depot and Rona but I've had no luck when I checked out and asked at said places. Thanks!

They're called bumper plugs but a bit pricey and requires making the holes a bit bigger. I got it free with a purchase from a member. I'd suggest looking for those plugs (with a bit of caulking) at HD or Rona.

I still haven't taken a pic of my car in winter mode. Busy with the baby and less (no) time to detail my ride. I did manage to change over the tires myself after buying the proper tools. Now I can't stop buying CT auto tools. Lol.
