Most bolt on mods to the engine do nothing other than making noise unless you tune your car. exhaust, intake headers, until you tune you will feel no gains.

I simply was searching to see if anyone had results to prove a friend of mine wrong and I decided to share one of my favourite clips. Btw my friend was wrong.

What all is entailed with a proper tune? Shops, length of time spent (car down time, tune time), what costs, and where to go? All newb questions I'm sure!

Most of any tune is done by computer. The program costs something around $200 I believe. You can ask around the site more or even do some google searching.

Anyone have any knowledge on this product?

dont buy that, its bs. and a real piggyback is around 500$ which should be able to advance some timing, and fuel ratios. generic tuning will never be better than a custom dyno tuned map, done by a professional tuner. from what i understand, i believe you want 12.5 afr on a naturally aspirated application, and 11-11.5 on boost for best power at WOT. you can always go standalone which is even more money, but then you get to play around with the closed loop which is around 0-3500rpm on our cars.

If you want my honest opinion, go for wheels and a way to lower the car. Exhaust can wait

Same here! I'm also all about practicality when it comes to mods. I'd lower but I share the car with my wife and its bad enough something @&$# happens to it almost every month from her habits (putting purse on the roof, resting sharp or heavy boxes on the rear bumper when loading in to the trunk, driving like she stole it over rail road crossings and in parking lots, etc.) lol. I'm surprised enough the new rims I put on last week don't have curb rash already. So basically yeah, to avoid the front, rear or doors being dinged and scraped by curbs, I'm not lowering. /end rant.

The roads i drive on would destroy my car. If i was a strict city driver i would but id rather avoid the problems. You should buy your wife a cheap beater. She has no respect and the car gods will smite her!

Is your car manual or auto?

If your car is manual, exhaust is fun to have
If your car is auto, Id just go with the rims.

    So far so good!

If you're all about function, you should get air ride. You're high, and low!

I may be wrong isn't air ride like $3500? I could take that money and do a stage 2 clutch or get into engine rebuilt. I figured id look into adjustable shocks and struts once mine start going.

I am very interested in beefing up the motor and work on performance.

After a long discussion with my mechanic buddy at work I think my conclusion is to do the following mods in almost this order...

    Strut bar
Corksport CB, short shifter, RMM 80
    RSB
Stage ? clutch ( I find the factory ones wwaaayyy too soft )
Autoexe bumper ( because I love the Nissan look it gives )

I am sure other things will fall in place. rims will be something I go for if the right deal comes up. I will have the CB done for sure by at least mid aug, or that's the plan.
