Question about 2010-11 front bumper vs 2012-13

Ok so i saw a nice GV Style Front lip for 50$(a buddy of mine) and i want to get it

Question is, what is the difference in the bumper between a 2010 and a 2012? and size difference or with some work it would fit?

The bumper on the 2012 extends out further than the 2010/2011 one. Therefore any lip designed for 2010-2011 that you end up attaching, will end up not looking like there is much of anything there at all since most of it is covered by the extended parts of the bumper. Bought and tested an mz lip before thats how I know.
