It's sequenced using a computer program called Light-O-Rama, which is networked through 120v controllers via cat5e cables. Basically I have to take a song and slow it down to 1/4 time and tell each light exactly when to turn on and off for each song. The network has DMX capabilities, but there's no automation aside from the scheduled show start times.

    Thanks @Thrizzl3!

I voted, but you need a lot of votes to catch up to some of the other crazies out there!! They all seem to be inside pics of peoples houses!

I would like to try and find time to come out and check out the lights. PM how to get there. I wouldn't mind meeting some other people up there, it's not crazy far is it?

I see, neat. I used to do stage lighting with a lot of ETC controls. Can do some pretty awesome stuff with these boards.

FWIW: Our Santa Clause Parade is the evening of Dec 7th (tomorrow), so High Street will be closed for a few hours.

People are reporting problems with the link, so here's a more fail safe way to vote for my picture...

1 - Please click THE LINK and like The Home Depots Facebook page.
2 - Then search for "ROB SEFTON" in the search bar in the top right corner of the contest page.
3 - Click the entrant Rob S (should be 5th one down... look for the profile picture with a lawn lit up in lights).
4 - Check the little box and click VOTE.
