22 male with G for almost 3 years. I pay 350/mo with TD insurance for a 2013 sky sedan. Getttiinng rrraaaappppeeeeeddd
RIP Jules Bianchi

I pay about $230-250/month that covers 2 cars and a house - full $2M coverage with minimal deductibles.
Supposed to get slightly cheaper now that I moved to Pickering.

And while we are on the topic...
...FOR THE LOVE OF FREEDOM AND ALL THINGS GOOD..PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE BLACK BOX INSURANCE SCAM....
the one that rewards you for how you drive.
I just hope that the idea dies and goes away.

My I insurance just went down to $140.75/month.
Full coverage, minimum deductible. Clean record. 28 years old.
Slowly but surely my insurance is getting tolerable.

I was paying $443 /month for just liability for a 2004 2.3 hatch, and a 2011 GX hatch living in brampton (went up $100 from living in scarborough, go figure) I just moved to east detroit and now i'm paying $260 for collision and liability on both. You know it's bad when detroit is cheaper than toronto.

renewal went from 225 to 240. no DWB offences or anything...just out of the blue..what gives?

Before getting my recent car, I tried canvassing for the lowest rate knowing that my rate would definitely increase (2010 sedan to 2013 speed). I asked at least 3 companies about rates granted if I were to retain my 2010 sedan and the same answer came from each one....rates went up. I asked why, they said I was in an area/city where claims shot up most recently. This affected my rates, as well as my wife's CX-5. She was only paying $125 last year, renewal is now at $140.
I was on my G2 when i got my 2013 Mazda 3 Sport GT (I got my license late) with TD Meloche Monnex, with university graduate discount... and my insurance was at $240 at yonge and finch. Moved up one block close to yonge and steeles and they added $950 to my balance, with 5 installments left in my contract, and my insurance rate shot up to $355 (after I got my G). Granted I'm under 25, only had my G since Sept, but that's some substantial increase based only on location... Couldn't do anything about it, just hoping it'll go down next year as all other quotes I got from other companies were just insane. No tickets, no accidents, includes accident forgiveness and replacement cost solution.
