Kitchener lol. One of my accidents is real old now though.

makes sense than I used to live in Guelph and drove to Kitchener for work. paid $150 for insurance![]()
I'm 22, in scarborough and I'm getting quotes in the $500+ range to go on my own. I do have an at fault accident in jan 2011 though. Any hope out there for me?
Live everyday to it's fullest as if it were your last

Not really. Go under your parents name
Modifications? I've forgotten more than I remember. Click here for the list.

Sadly no. That at fault accident is far too recent and you're young enough that insurance companies are probably actively looking to price you out of insurance. On paper you're probably too large a risk so your rates are gonna be nuts.
Best to stay on your parents as long as you can. Once you hit 25 your rate should go down some and after 6 years when that accident is written off then you should see more reasonable rates.

I'm pretty sure it's 6 years in Ontario.

So last year I was paying $2424/year... just got my renewal and it's now $1920/year (with RBC). I'm happy but I tried to shop around with TD Meloche Monnex (group rate), Cooperators (group rate), Desjardins and they're all quoting me above $3500/year. Does anyone know why there's such a huge discrepancy between RBC and all these other companies?
I know the drop with RBC is mostly because I'm 25 now so I thought the quotes with other companies would be more or less closer, within $500 instead of $1500.

1800 per year, im an 18 year old guy, no speeding tickets, one accident. I have 2 or 3 demerits.
$1091 for the year.
Clean record.
Purchased the car this past Autumn, full coverage, $1000 deductable.

Oh yeah, mine is also full coverage, 300 dollar deductable.
I pay 120 a month, 1 conviction and full coverage on my 3 with $300 deductible. This premium includes my wife and myself. She has a clean record.

Mine just dropped to $115/month. Full coverage $1000 deductible. One ticket for 10km over on record. 26 years old.

I was wrong. Im 18, 200 dollar deductible, 105/month, full coverage. One accident at fault.
2013 Mazda 3 purchased in May of last year. 115$ a month or 1380$/year. Full coverage with replacement.

I don't understand why I cant find anything cheaper than $178 for my '05. Most other places want $200-250+ a months. I'm 30, live in Hamilton, No accidents, 1 ticker for going 15 over and 1 suspension for non payment of fines (wrote down a wrong credit card number on the pmt form)
