oh you guys.

Had a convo with my GF tonight. I'm pretty sure now that my plan is to give/sell the BBS to my GF for her MK6 Golf next summer. I'm HOPING that I can ignore all the cosmetic issues and just keep it running as a DD.

But enough talk of that for now. Hopefully get the car out to a couple shows/meets and stuff while I'm still proud of it

TBH though I'm not far behind. The plan was to finish up mods this year and maybe even start parting stuff out this year in the fall. If I think I can get one more summer of shows out of it I will but then I'll either get it to a lightly modded state or return it to stock all together. I totally understand the money, there have been several times this year I thought I'm tired of spending all my money on stuff with near 0 resale value.

haha, technically I am younger than you, but only by a couple months. We would have been in the same grade year so we're the same age.
And we'll see. The longer I have the car the less shits I give about it, which could be good or could be bad. My main motivation for going soft is that I know I'll need a repaint, most likely by next spring, in order to be satisfied. I'm kind of OCD about the exterior of the car and the rust bubbles bother me way too much.

I really just think I'd have more fun with a fun car I can hoon rather than smashing my daily to bits driving to get milk.

So without going into a lot of detail... a couple weeks ago, a horse and buggy turned onto the road in front of me and I hit it. Everyone is fine, thank God. My Mazda was written off.
