Shit sorry to hear man! About 5 guys at work had their basements totally flooded when that bad storm hit Burlington. Been a few weeks now and they still have repairs going on.

Any locals need a good battery? Motomaster Ultra AGM spiral cell battery with less than a year on it. Been kept on an agm maintainer since it was removed. Its basically a Yellowtop knockoff. Thought i was having battery issues. I was wrong. :-/ i still have the warranty paperwork too. 5yr full replacement. Like to get $100, but im flexible. Figured id check here before i post to the toronto classifieds.

Default Tri-City Area (Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge or Guelph)

Basically all car batteries are lead and sulphuric acid. AGM batteries use a fiberglass mat to hold the acid/electrolyte against the plates. Generally they have a higher current density and longer reserve capacity.

Spiral cell AGM batteries like this one and yellowtops increase current density and also have low ESR (electrical series resistance) which means as a general rule they can deliver current faster on spikes and demands which makes them ideal for audio systems. Kinetic etc.. Power cells are agm batteries and the smaller ones can deliver current faster than most any capacitors can.

These are also deep cycle and non spill-able so they are particularly well suited for audio and marine applications.

This would be a great battery for starting in cold weather AND getting better audio power delivery, either as a main or supplementary battery.

+1!!!! And @DLYDRVN I am very interested in that battery. Only downside is I'm broke until next Thursday unless I sell at least one of these amps I got sitting in the garage haha.
