Kinda bored so I'm gonna update this, even though there's really nothing new to update at all.

Audio stuff: almost all working properly. Still have some small issues. But I'm currently running the following: Kenwood single-din deck, Infinity/Pioneer speakers, 12" MTX sub in a ported/vented box, a mono-block Alpine amp for the sub and a 4-Channel Pioneer amp for the speakers, and mostly all new wiring. Once the remaining minor problems are solved, it should be solid. It's quite the nice/noticeable upgrade from stock already, that's for sure.

As for the rest of the car...no change really. Here's some recent pics...

They look lower because they are lower haha as if my car didn't seem high enough to me on its own, its a damn 4x4 next to these guys.

Needs another 12" in there ;P. Just saying hahaha. And a deck that plays CDs. But I told you the difference is unreal and once we get this one issue fixed you'll be glad you changed... I bet you already are even with a front door speaker blown (possibly blown anyway). Love the ride. Love dat ass. Love dat peach.

This is a very good point haha. I just like having the option to use CDs. Plus as I was saying at the meet CDs sound so much better then a USB or auxillary. Plus with the USB/ iPod hookup not working properly he would love to have a CD player rather then a radio haha.

Damn right. I love this deck though. Never really been a CD kinda guy, so the lack of CD capability isn't a big deal to me at all.

It is a nice deck but with how the iPod part isn't working a CD player would be nicer then the radio . But that's just me. And my 100s of CDs haha.

@FD22 why isn't your ipod USB working? The deck won't read or play music from the ipod when connected? Check the deck settings under the USB section. It might be set to the wrong setting. If you're not able to switch the settings you may need to unplug the deck from the harness and plug it back and redo the settings although this time selecting the other USB option which on my deck would be av or av2 (don't remember) I wrote you all of this because I had the same issue and this is how I resolved the problem. Hope it helps in your case

Huh that's a new one. I figured it was like mine. Plug the USB in and away you go. But makes sense when there was no auxillary setting.

remember the deck is from 2010, i guess kenwood wasn't using usb for everything back then. still a pretty awesome single din dash. beats alot of cheap china double dins that are released right now
