@FD22 why isn't your ipod USB working? The deck won't read or play music from the ipod when connected? Check the deck settings under the USB section. It might be set to the wrong setting. If you're not able to switch the settings you may need to unplug the deck from the harness and plug it back and redo the settings although this time selecting the other USB option which on my deck would be av or av2 (don't remember) I wrote you all of this because I had the same issue and this is how I resolved the problem. Hope it helps in your case

Thanks bud, but as Chris mentioned, I just need to hookup an aux cable to play the sound apparently. The USB I have hooked up to it only allows for data transfer (ie the deck will display what's playing from the iPod but won't actually play sound).

The usb doesn't have a setting for iPod in or not? Mine has iPod (over usb) or just usb as line in for sound. What is the model of the deck?

See above post reply lol mine does have a separate USB and aux capability, and the options for both USB and iPod do show up on the deck as well.

I'll be plugging in the aux cord soon so hopefully that'll work. Will update if it doesn't.
