I vowed that once I got over 300,000 that I would not spend any more money on repairs, so when the transmission decided at act all crazy a few weeks ago I put her to rest.

Its just not worth spending the money to fix it. Specially with it rusting. I can get a years worth of payments on a new car for the money it would cost to replace the engine.

Actually, I don't see any rust on the body at all. I had rust proofing done at Krown every year since I got the car up until 3 years ago. That's not to say that there isn't any. I assume there are some on the underside or maybe in the wheel wells. I forgot to stick my head inside the wheel wells when I was changing the tires this year but just from looking at it with the wheels on I don't see any rust.
