    Default ValdesX's Mazda3/Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Hey, I never got around to doing this because I'm incredibly lazy, but anyway.

I'm ValdesX and I have a 2009 Arctic White Mazda3 sedan. 2.0 Motor because who needs power when you can have meh fuel mileage! (shoot me)

    Wheels and Tires:

    - OEM 15" Mazda3 Alloys coated in Duplicolor Blackout Chrome Spray, wrapped in Goodyear Nordic's 195/65R15

    - I also have a beautiful set of MS3 Gen2 Wheels powdercoated Hyper Blue, no rubber ATM.

    Suspension:

    - Stock suspension right now, have Koni Oranges waiting to be installed.

    Fluids:

    - Always use Synthetic Oil because I often go over 5000km before a change.
    - Redline ATF

    Various 'Mods':

    - Hid Lowbeams thanks to @sp3GT
    - Custom Made (by me) tow plate
    - 4 x 6x8 Kenwood Door speakers
    - 1 x 12" Type R Subwoofer powered by a 300W(500W?) Alpine Monoblock Amp.
    - Eonon D5151 Headunit with iGo maps.
    - Plastidipped the Chrome Grill Black (Left the Mazda Emblem Chrome)
    - Plastidipped Fog Covers Black
    - Plastidipped Black Roof (Looks like absolute Garbage)
    - Added Rear Spoiler from GT Model
    - Sound/Rattle Proofing all through the rear end of the car.
    - Rain guards from Nextmod

    Future Plans:

    - Vinyl Wrap Spoiler and Roof in Gloss black
    - Sportline Springs with my Oranges
    - 23% Tint all around
    - Front Lip + Sideskirts in either Gloss black or Arctic White, not sure yet
    - LED lighting everywhere (Turn signals, Brake lights, Reverse lights)
    - DRL Delete or modification (I seriously have a problem with the Yellow-ish looking lights

That's about all I can think of for now. It's fun to drive at least. No power modifications because whats the point.
    So, Pics I guess.

    Car Last summer

    Car this Winter

    Bumper Modifications

OH MY GOD MY BEAUTIFUL WHEELS

Anywho that's all, maybe more down the road.

I stole it from Thrizzle actually. Also, since I know you don't consider plastidipping a mod I put my modification section in quotation makes.

Can't wait to put those wheels on. Seriously. It's killing me them just sitting in my room.

Pictures don't even do them justice, stripping technologies did an amazing job on them.
@loki they are all the same colour too, no issues like what you were telling me about at the Mazda test drive.

Is there a way to fix or hide the two front holes in the bumper from where the license plate once was? Would clean it up nicely.

I've heard about getting plastic stoppers or something from the hardware store and painting them with the Mazda paint pen. But I hate that paint pen. Those are actually the old bolts from the license plate mounting bracket.

So, I never post and I'm sorry.

I did a little suspension work, Koni Oranges are in with "Lowering" springs...

As she sits right now it looks like this. I love it, you may not..guess who doesn't care either way! @loki that's who. Me as well I suppose. Don't hurt my feelings.

So as many of you may or may not know, my love died. just when she was looking so beautiful too. Either way.

RIP Felicity, you were mine from 2012-2015

So shortly before I lost her I made a rather rash purchase, an old broken down motorcycle.

A tune up and cleaning later and she works great, but she was ugly. Had to fix that. TADA

I still haven't got a name for her yet however. Welcome to suggestions, for now shes just my Vulcan 500.

NOW THEN, obviously I can't ride this thing through the winter, however I also dislike riding her through the rain, though do-able with my rain gear, not exactly ideal.

There were sensible cars to choose from, AWD makes the most sense since we're in Canada and such, could easily pick up a WRX and be happy. Its a good reliable car, buuut instead because I'm 23 and reckless I decided eff all that, I want something that's going to make me smile every time I get in it, damn the expense!

Ladies and gents, Meet Jennay (Pretend you're Forrest Gump when you read that)

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, 6 speed manual, 2.0t GT model, which means I get all the fun parts from the R-spec (Brembos, LSD, Stiffer Suspension) but all the luxuries from the Premium (Sunroof, Xenons, 10 speakers)

Overall I'm happy, I know its not a car that's incredibly practical, and probably wont fare me very well this winter, or be as versatile as Felicity but you know what? I smile every freaking time I turn her over, and that's really all that matters to me.

For now I'll be holding off on modifying her, want to focus on paying her off, then I'll look at doing things. Not to say I wont do ANYTHING to her. I mean, she needs new summer shoes for sure. Yellow fogs probably, Nokya Hyper Yellows probably, rain guards. Whatever suits my fancy.

    #WINTERREADY

Who would've thought that the Gencoupe bolt pattern and hub bore would happen to be the same as the Mazda. 225/45R18's on my Mazdaspeed3 PC'd Wheels. 10mm (I think) spacers to help clear the Brembos, Special thanks to @allen@simplytire.com for assisting with the wheels. When I showed up they couldn't believe I fit 8 wheels in the Jennay.

Anyway folks, I'll try and make it out to any remaining meets this year and keep going with the TM3 community, you're good people.

I'll be throwing my TM3 place cover on the rear plate of my car in case anyone wants to honk!

Definitely sucks about losing the 3, but congrats on the two new purchases. I still love the look of the Gen1 Gencoupes, specially when modded. Those wheels actually look quite good on it. A part of your Mazda will always live on this way! Lol

Anyone know what the deal is with those rust Control modules? It was already in the Gen Coupe when I bought it so I made sure they didn't charge for it. But they were too lazy to take it out either. Do I not need to get the car Krowned? Cause that seems sketchy.
