Hi everyone. Totally newb here. Any idea which company has the lowest rate? i've been quoting for quite awhile now looking and they're all $450 and above. i really love that 2015 Mazda 3 GX. in fact, i was about to get 0.99% for 60 months the dealer offered me but thinking of the insurance really makes me quit. thinking about it really makes me sad. btw i'm 28 male and living in North Etobicoke.
any ideas would really be appreciated.

All depends on the car, drivetrain, safety features etc. Not always the case.

If you're under 25 and looking at a new car, you'll be paying a lot for insurance.

But over $400 a month seems insane to me. When I was 18 with my first car I paid I think $225 with Dominion. Now at 23 I pay $146 on a 2012.

I just the recently did a quote on a turbo Forte and was quoted at 138 a month. So I don't know why a newer, faster car is cheaper than my Mazda... Statistics maybe.

Not necessarily, my fiance has a 2011 golf and I've the the 2006 mazda 3 and she pays less monthly than I do

Ouch... Unless you're working a lot and can't get rides, cancel your insurance and park that car or sell it. That's a crazy amount.

Currently paying $145 for my '05 mazda 3 in Hamilton. But renewal is coming up and I managed to get into 2 accidents at fault (first two ever, one a guy actually hit me). Accident forgiveness covered the first one but kinda curious what the second one gonna bump me up to.
