Its ok that you guys agreed with that, I just wanna point out at something.

Have you guys seen or been in a car show of this kind without modified cars?? And in fact the majority of the people that participate on these shows have put so many time, money and effort on these cars and not most of them should be call riced out cars.

The purpose of these shows (Importfest, Hot Import Nights, etc) is put together a lot of modified cars for the enjoy of people who like them but it doesn't mean that its a bad show or is a waste of time and money, obviously if you prefer a mild modified looking car, you wont find it interesting, while some others like me give a lot of credit and respect for these guys and their cars, it is also a good place to take a look on the latest after market products so lets don't mix up concepts about these.

Guys, don't take it to serious from my side, i respect every ones opinion and i'm totally convinced that not everybody have to think the same way, I just wanted to say what i think of it. Later.

You are correct, I understand that people spend alot of time, money, and effort into these show cars.
    I can respect that fact.
The type of cars displayed are just not my cup of tea.
I respect everything they devoted to their car, but at the same time I do not like the end product.
I've went two times and both times, it seemed pretty similar.

Because I went two times and found it similiar, personally it just doesn't justify taking the whole day to go downtown and the expenses (inclu. admission).
I much prefer to go to something like NAIAS.. I like those cause you get to actually do interactive things instead of just walking around. You can get into the new cars and play with them a bit, check them out from the inside.. etc...

Enjoy the show, for all who are going!

I remember the first one was the best.

After that it just went downhill.

Check out the Max Boost Civic. The RX-8 marker lights on the bumper I sold those to the owner back in 99.

Was a good show.... I had a good time with my team for sure. We had 21 cars and took home 5 trophies.

Rice? Sure. People like to poke fun etc, but I mean look at the work and time. I mean take any aspect of a car... Speed? There are some crazy fast cars there. Paint? Some of the wildest paintjobs around, and if you dont like wild, there is some of the best quality at that show for paint. Wheels? Thats a given.... everything from small track wheels to blinged out Escalades.

All I am saying is the show is not rice. Yea there is bound to be some, but no matter what you look for in a car it is there (unless you like stock).

John don't worry, people just don't get it.

The show was very good, a lot of different cars, quite a few cars from NY, I loved the two Evos, the Jetta with the wide body kit, 285 tires at the rear, wow.

Good rep from the TO Protege guys and a lot of Beemers.

The Chrysler 300 and the wide body Pontiac Solstice that were featured in the last PAS mag were just awesome.

I walked by your car a couple times but i didn't see you, i guess you were close to the stage looking at the Got Ass girls, OMG.

I like it this year more than the past years, hey congrats for your trophies.

I don't think it has anything to do with 'getting it'. Everyone has different tastes, and there is nothing wrong with people saying/feeling that this show is rice, just as there is nothing wrong with you saying that it isn't. I think we all appreciate that most people have put their blood, sweat and tears into their rides, but that doesn't mean that everybody has to like it

Exactly, I totally agree with you, I already said it a few post above, when I say "people just don't get it" I'm referring to the fact that I already wrote saying that if you don't like it, its ok but you don't have to come and try to make it look bad just b/c you don't like it and people came and kept doing it.

    To be more directly I was referring to this post;

It's like if you prefer Mozart why you are going to post in the trance head thread saying that trance is boring or bad, just b/c its not your type of music??

Again I agree with you, not everybody has to like it but at list give some respect for everyone else's taste or way to think.
