Just replaced my stock rear motor mount with a corksport one. Easy install, I was surprised by how crappy the stock one looks.

With the new Ventus evo 2s I put on yesterday and the new motor mound the car feels awesome. I get the new rmm vibrations now.. but other then that night and day difference.

Seriously though, it doesn't take much to give it a sportier feel.

Today I learned a very valuable lesson in what effort is required to put Ichiba spacers on a gen3. Long story short: the hardware that comes with them needs to be modified to be compatible. While I’m not sure if the difference it made was worth it, the whole experience confirmed for me that impulsive modding always leads to trouble.

Also…loving the Corksport SRI. I abandoned my plan to install it myself…Evolution (in the Keele & Lawerence area) took care of it for me.

The CS sri is a nice mod to do. I have the 10mm ichiba spacers and I needed the extra long bolts. Fortunately the shop had them.

Engine and drivetrain swap happened today. Running and no more grinding in the transmission.

Well, in a strange turn of events I ended up having my rear stock springs put back on. Anyone who wants to hear the highly entertaining story, I’ll be telling it tomorrow at Picker Pub Night

you will hate your car with the BSD and all those mounts.

rearview mirror becomes useless from all the vibes and be prepared for headaches with all the reverberation inside the cabin.

BSD isn't needed, unless you're also adding an oil pan baffle.

PMM gives the worst vibes with the BSD so you should be good, not sure why you went with a solid mount like that through. It may cause the vibrations to loosen up some bolts and panels.

Be careful and make sure your chassis bolts that attached by the RMM do not get loose. You may want to loctite everything now lol...

you say that now... there is no benefit to the BSD unless you're running an oil pan baffle and you don't need an oil pan baffle unless you're pulling more than 1+G in a long corner

Try the TMM first before the BSD.

Ask @loki and @ryan2.3 what a ms3 with full mounts + BSD sounds and feels like

you don't want the balance shaft delete. The car become unbearable.

I can tell you this from driving the track in MBNTO's car. It's not about the vibrations, but rather there is a loud buzz as a result of the deletion.

I had a helmet on the entire time and my head still hurt from being in the the car for a few laps.

what Loki said, we were only on the track for 15 minutes in that car, and it was really disorienting and hurt my head as well. I can't imagine being in the vehicle longer than that, especially if you plan on driving it day to day

Read the 'first' link posted by Ryan2.3 thoroughly, that should give you an idea how stupid it would be to remove a balance shaft. Especially note the part about crankshaft bearings, but it'll do damage to other internal components most definitely, and quickly. Manufacturers place balanced shafts on their engines for a good reason...Specifically engine durability and longevity, not just for customer comfort.

I see no benefit whatsoever, just headaches down the road...Costly headaches.
