Weird Noise from steering wheel

Hi everyone,I got a new mazda 3 gt 2020 about 2 month ago.its been about a month that I am hearing a noise from my steering wheel.the sound is like friction between 2 metal parts.I went to the dealership and they checked the car and told me that they can not hear anything.they checked the suspension and said that's fine. but I am sure that the sound is coming from inside the steering wheel house, there must be sth wrong with the telescoping.I had a video of that noise, they asked me to forward the video to them and they sent the video to Mazdacanada.has anyone of you have the same issue?

Can you post the video here so we can listen too? And if possible, get a third party mechanic to check out the noise too.

Have the same problem on a CX-30. Did you manage to get your's fixed? If so, do you know what was the problem and how was it fixed?

To me there a big diff between a plastic scraping noise and a metal noise
Take that to the dealer and dont get the car back until it gone.
Sounds like the loose locking mechanism grinding (when put it park and steering locks)
Last thing you want is the steering locking at high speed

Had it checked by the dealer. I showed them the problem and left the car there. Today they called and told me they've checked everything and all works well there and they couldn't reproduce it any-more. So it'll be helpful to know if anyone got it fixed and which was the problem. Note that it's the same noise as the one reported by @Sam.adeliSam.adeli
