technically it would've been cheaper for me to rent a car with insurance, however back in the day there weren't that many rentals that provided mazda3s

Yeah, especially a lot of time you can rent with a Gold Visa card and it covers for insurance too....also it gives you the option of trying different types of car from one week to the other. However, you don't feel a sense of ownership of your car.

I switched to Chieftain a few months ago and am paying $187/month, 25, no tickets, but the kicker is my deductable is $1000 for collision and comp...but it's still cheaper than AllState.

It weird they renew it every month, does that mean they pull my record every month? If so that is very expensive for them. Going to see what the broker can do after a year.

Not bad considering I was paying $102 and change for a 2002 Hyundai Elantra.

I think to change it to a $1000 deductable / $500 comprehensive, or vice versa, was going to make it $136 and change, so still not bad.
