Yes, and it left me very, very impressed! It's so deceptively quick it's not even funny.

I name this photoshoot "fun with filters". Nice work!

For the car... it's an auto! Sheesh!!

before you go on about it being an auto or whatever else you want to say... there were a few reasons why it had to be an auto..

so whatever... either way the auto will outperform either of your cars.

what you didn't catch was the auto is with the new paddle shift system...

    anyway...

Fair enough. I'm just teasing, bro. It's a hell of a car!

i figured so... just don't want this to turn into another one of those auto vs manual discussions.

Oh, hell no! I'll make fun of anyone for picking an auto over a manual. I'm perfectly happy discounting all of the dozens of perfectly valid reasons for picking an auto just to dish out a good ribbing.

No photoshop filters were used. The only filters I ever use are UV filters and circular polarizers.

I like manual transmissions as much as any other manual junkie but this the 6 speed ZF unit in the 335 is one that I don't mind driving at all. It's incredibly smooth, and shifts instantly. No lag between the shifts, and all the downshifts are perfectly rev-matched.

That's actually what I meant. Camera filters... not photoshop filters. The pics turned out really nice!

Well for an auto system it shifts so smoothly and quickly that there have been reported stock times of 4.9 - 5.1 for a 0-60 time... which in my eyes is not too shabby

anyhoo... this is about the pics.. and I think they are sweet of the car.

from a stop sure... 80-120 would be interesting with the auto, I wouldn't be so quick to brush off the speed3. Scroll down to the 80-120 test data at http://www.ajac.ca/english/ccoty/200...ata.asp?lang=1

    Mazdaspeed 3.9s 80-120.
    Audi RS4 3.5s 80-120.
    BMW 3-Series Coupé 4.0s 80-120.
    BMW M Coupé 4.4s 80-120.
    Shelby GT500 3.5s 80-120.
    Saturn Sky Redline 5.4s 80-120.

    Those were all manual transmissions

Fair enough... I was talking more about his red car...

I did not want this to turn into some pissing match... it was more of general reaction to his comment on the car being auto..

Nice pics as usual.....this car really is stunning. I'd happily take one of these over a manual MS3 any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

I'll have to sell my car first and go from there. If I can afford it though, I'd love an E92.
