    Default opportunity cost

Now i'm considering for next mods.

If you have to choose only 1 from wheels or exhaust mod,
then which one would you choose?

Wheels. They stand out more. Exhaust isn't THAT important at stock stage, unless ur into the VROOOOOOOOOOOM sound. But yea......

theres a pretty big price diff between those 2 mods, wheels you are looking at anywhere from 850-3000$ exhaust is 450-800

I say you go for cheaper rims, AND a magnaflow.

I think that if the way your car looks is a big deal to you, then most definitely go for the rims because it will make your car stand out in a crowd of 3s. If you are one of those fools who thinks that your 3 is a Ferrari and you want to make it sound more like one, then go for the exhaust.

I personally would do the new wheels!

Ill take your old rims off your hands

Exhaust first. unless you upgrade your tires this will provide some small performance changes and it's something that will be there all season. With rims you would have to change them out come winter.

EE has the right idea... the rims are nice... but better to grab them in the spring... so you get the full time out of them... plus usually rims go on sale towards teh end of the summer mid fall... so you can save yourself some big money, and get the rims you want... instead of having to settle.. true they will make the car different... but the car will look good lowered on the flakes. Besides rims make a car look flashy.... and flashy attracts thieves and po po. A stock looking 3 with a mean exhaust is sleeper and flys under the radar but at the end of the day its at your discretion.

Rims first, you still got 4 to 5 months before you have to switch over to winters.

Let me put it this way, what's the only part of your car that actually grips the road to launch or stop you, help you turn, or put down power?

If those rubbers aren't any good, no other mod is good to. Go get some nice rims and rubber.

    What difference does it make?

We all know that you're going to get both eventually, so why not just wait the extra month, then see if you can get a package deal on everything?
