I also just made a deal on a Mazda3 GT w/lux package in Carbon Gray. I got the same response about the 2-week wait though. Gonna tint the windows as soon as I get it. So can anyone confirm that a 35% tint on driver's side window is the darkest we can go legally in Ontario?

Yeah, 35% is the low limit. I'm coming from 20% all around on my Z24, so I'm hoping 35% all around on the m3 won't be a disappointment.

No real law against 20%... the whole thing is kinda grey (no pun)

You're right, the law is very subjective. But good luck arguing with the cop in the middle of the night. I'm surprised this hasn't gone to court, though.

I must be missing something here. It doesn't say anything about other people having a clear view of the driver. It just says the windshield ans side windows have to "afford the driver a clear view to the front and side of the motor vehicle". I know when I'm inside a vehicle with 20% I have a clear view of everything outside the car.
