By chance, was there any mention of when we would begin to see the new 3? Late this year, Spring of 09 or later?

Previous postings have it pegged as a 2010 model. Would they release it in 2009?

I spoke to sales rep, and told me that they had conference meeting and the new mazda won't come out untill 2010.

If this is the case then, what are they doing for 2009? They already released the 2008.5. Could they better the car any or just run in through and start calling it a 2009 like they did for 2007 into the 2008 model(No changes)?

For the M6 - I saw a few months back info that the "top level" car would have b/t 220-250hp and all wheel drive available in ALL models - and I did come across a few pics of a wagon variant which was absolutely beautiful - if I find the link I'll post it.

Okay.... I have seen the photos of the new Mazda3... and all I can say is holy sh!t.

Can't say much... but I will say this... remember how far ahead the Mazda3 was from all of it's competitors when it first came out in 2004.... well Mazda is about to leave them in the dust once again.

Mazda is totally focused on the launch of the new 2009 Mazda6 late this summer. I wouldn't count on any information being released on the new Mazda3 until that launch is complete and everything is rolling. Hopefully once that happens they will then provide some information about what and when we can expect a new Mazda3.
