How to tell you got the right girl...

So this evening when I got home from work, I was on a mission to finish detailing the outside of my car, since I had washed it the previous night in anticipation of the wonderful weather we're having this weekend . Upon cleaning up the engine bay I decided to take a look at the CAI and low and behold it needed a good cleaning. So I jacked up the car (to low to get at ) and took off the filter to clean.

I'm washing the filter and then I let it soak for a bit. I start to clean the rest of the engine bay, when SheFX comes rollin' up my driveway in her G5. I had invited her over to watch a movie but she knew I'd have to finish with the car first. Now for those of you who've washed you're aftermarket filters before, you know that it needs time to dry before you can stick it back on the car . Well, leaving my car outside over night would mean I'd have to put everything back together. SheFX had the idea to use a blow dryer to quickly dry the filter. Brilliant idea, so I got a dryer and away I went a drying.

Here's the best part though....she wanted to help so she blew dry the filter while I worked on the car!!!!!....not to mention she looked hot doing it, so I had to snap a pic...






After that was done, while I was working on putting the filter back on, she volunteered to detail my rims! I snapped a pic of that to. Not only because she looked great, but also because it was incredibly awesome that she helped to detail!




....and for those of you who think I was just snapping pics, all the tools and such on the driver's side of the car, was where I was working.

Congrats man that's pretty sweet. My girl doesn't mind playing sports or something but washing the car or detailing it would be something new...as for the blow drying part I guess you had that coming sooner or later! As, for the lawn very nice looks like a golf course

Drying the filter :p (thing on the end is to hold it in line with the spash shield).

The lawn is nice for now, thx to all the rain. Its a pain cutting it every week though. Ah well Dad and I take turns.
