Does anyone know where i can get nightshade paint so i could tint my tailights?
the only spot i know that sells it is perfromnce improvemnts in oshawa...that is were i get mine from....i am going to get a can too..when i am in the area next..
IF you go on ebay and type in night shade in search you will find people selling it..but its around the same price and performance.
Just rember this when you tint them...don't put more then 3 to 4 coats casue it might be to dark...good luck!
A lion would never cheat on his wife, but a Tiger Wood.
i see the aerosol can on ebay for $11 think ill get 2 cans
Performance Improvements in Newmarket stocks VHT Niteshades. I think it's, as someone else mentioned, around $16-17 per can.
This is an old picture, but I did my taillights myself with the VHT Nightshade.

How many coats is that, Fonz? And how much did it let the light come out? Was it within legal specs? :-P I've been thinking about doing this, too, for a while now, but I don't want to eff it up and ruin my tails... Clearcoat on top?
This is how it looks up close.

Has anyone done the reflectors in te bumper and the refector on the side of the bumper? Cause i want to know how the come out so i can tint them too.
Cause i am going to be getting a can from performance improvemnts in october when i go to toronto to pick up my rims/snow tires from simply
ask FONZ he has smoked LED's reflectors
to remove those u need to remove your rear bumper.
Yea, I think you have to take off the bumper to do it. I never have done it, but I think that when you take off the bumper, there's 1 or 2 screws per reflector.
Nope, You need to remove the bumper to take those reflectors off. Trust me a real pain in the ass. not as easy as the front bumper is.
ive never sprayed the tail lights before but do u do the inside or the outside of the taillights to darken them?
Every time i did my truck/cars with night shade i spray usaly 3 to 4 coats on the out side lens...then i spray like 4 coats of clear coat on it and it shines...just rember clean the lens first with windex/rubing achol.
Also try not to go past 4 coats...on my blue truck i sprayed like 8 coats cause with the light in my garge i thought it was not dark cause i could see red still....lets just say it was dark...i had to buy new tail lights
Here are my lights after 4 coats on my quad cab
