I am 22 and I have 1 at fault that I am currentlly paying for and a 2nd at fault that I will start paying for when my policy renews next year. My insuance will be around 7,000 to 10,000 next year. I am about ready to give up driving.

I already take the rocket . Yah I have faced paying worse insurance before but then I got a year driving record and my rates went down so I can only hope that my Insurance drops when I turn 25 and clear my first accident.

if you are buying a mazda 3 , if it is not a new one i would strongly recommend the following

1- look at the tires , mazda comes with sh i t t y tires , therefore be prepared to spend about 700 - 800 $ on new tires , unless you want to be slipping in the winter.


I still think civics are better, just because i happen to own a civic and a mazda 3 , however mazdas are much more better looking exterior and interior wise, they are also much faster than civics. However they consume more gas and are probably more expensive to fix.

Both great cars , i just went for looks when i bought the 3 and i dont regret it that much, however if i happen to buy a newer car for myseld (since the wife drives the mazda 3) i would probably go for the civic

Not much, it could actually go up nowdays. My sisters insurance went up this year .

My insurance in my jetta back in 2003 when up and i had not tickets or accidents , they said that there was a mistake in my original quote.

Some people say when you turn 25 insurance goes down for quite a bit , i ll see next year.

For my civic it went down 13$ (monthly) for the last two years, but that was under my dads name

I've got full coverage ($500 deductible, comfort thing (no depreciation for 2 years), 1 mil liability) on my 2008.5 Mazda3 gt with moonroof. Based out of Kingston since i work there and drive home to mississauga on weekends. I'm a 23 year old male with no tickets. Driving 20,000km a year (says my policy but i've already gotten over 8000km since i got my car 2 months ago).
Pay $180/month with Belair Direct.
Still feel like i'm overpaying.
Anybody here also insure a motorcycle (specifically a 600cc sport bike)? I'm planning on getting one next spring. I've heard state farm was good when you bundled up everything like car, bike, home, life...Is this true?

It really sucks what two small tickets can do to your insurance. Heck in one speeding ticket I was following a school bus and I got pulled over for going 12km over (bumped down to 8km). Anyways once I got my 3 I became SUPER careful. I hope when I renew my insurance in may my rates will drop just a little.
