    Default LF: Lightweight wheels (Forged)

anyone running forged wheels or lightweight cast wheels (around 15 lbs)?

looking to upgrade and was hoping some local dealers (besides tire23) had a selection so i could have look at them with my car.

looking to spend $2500 at the most though.
Don't be an idiot, it's not an M3.

You don' thave to spend 2k on light rims. Enkei RPF1s are very light weight cast and they have lots and lots of sizes available and in 17s, you'll probably get a quote from $1000-1200

i'd like to avoid simply tire if i can, plus the rims they had on hand when i was there didn't appeal to me.

$2500 was my max for something like volk or work rims, i'd rather spend $1000-1500. i was looking at ssr and the rpf1'srims but i guess no one is running either of them.

ShortBus - We dont have a ton of wheels in stock at the moment (maybe 8-10 styles). However, we can order in almost anything you want. If you let us know a style, or colour, we can shoot over a few ideas, and suggestions

    Thanks

right now i'm looking at the ssr type c in black but i'm also like the volk te37 and advan rgii.

if you could post or pm me a price on these or similar style lightweight rims in black, black with red lip, or bronze sized 17x7(7.5)/5x100/+45 (+43-48).

    thanks.

The Enkei RPF1 are cheaper and lighter than the SSRs or the Volks. I can send you pricing on any of these wheels, just so you know the Volks are 3x as much as the Enkei wheels. Let me know if you need any info.

    i know the volk's will be $2500-3000.

according to the spec's the ssr's are .5 lbs lighter than the rpf1's, but i think the ssr's will be stronger since they are semi-forged. only problem with rpf1's are they don't come in the colour i want.

none the less i'd like to get some quotes.

they could be but from what i've read it's going to be a pain to get them to fit my car if even possible.

but now that you mentioned oz i'm also thinking of the ultraleggera......

I had Motegi traklite's on my old car and they were less then 10 lbs. each wheel. I assume you are looking for 17s? I would check them out they were less then a thousand bucks for the set.

Some of the FAST wheels (www.fastwheels.ca) are low weight. Check out the Competition series
