Audio LCD Temperature Display

Hey, new to the forums here, my first post!!

Anyways, I am the proud owner of a 2004 Mazda 3 Sport GT hatchback. Just today I was looking at some pictures of the newer versions of the Mazda 3's and noticed that on the car audio display, it also shows the temperature inside the car and additional information.

It peeked my interest so after looking at my car, I can see that on the lcd screen, they is room and in fact I can see faint images of the same display I saw on the newer models.

My question I guess is, is there a way to make the part of the screen active on my car?

Unfortunately, it's only available with the 06+ models.
