Habs, what do you think the chances of getting LeCavalier over the summer are??

I gotta think that the chances are slim. After Gainey ripped into Brian Lawton at his year end press conference...not a good sign. I think a deal with Lecavalier was in place earlier this year (in Dec or Jan) but then Lawton went around to other teams trying to get them to up Montreal's bid.

Then the deal fell apart and so did the Habs season!!

The other problem is Vinny's contract!! 85 mil over the next 11 years and he will be 29 soon...ouch!!

But man would he be worth it for the next 3-4 years...after that...not so sure! could be an albatross to the organization.

I pulled the tranny out of my 86 Mustang about 6 times, 3 clutches and 2 tranny change overs and back...lol With a hoist it was a 2 hour job max...
But a fwd in my driveway.... might send it to the tranny shop, lower the profits...lol
I'll be lucky to get a 10 gal here... 120V...lol I do have one at my dad's, 240V 20 gal or so, but I'm not wiring 240V to my garage here, I'll probably just sell it.

Yep, it would be nice for a shorter run, the 11 year contract that he comes with kind of sucks.... But, as long as he is healthy, he can possibly be traded! lol But they need to make some big moves this year, thats the first decade Montreal hasn't won a cup.... that sucked! lol

I know, this one is 120/240, but runs better on 240. Its older, will come back up to pressure quicker on 240. It might be a 25 gal, can't remember. I grabbed it a couple years back, but haven't used it. Its old and reliable, back when the built them to last! Belt driven!

yeah it's been tough to be a sports fan in Montreal in the last decade+ or so. After the Cup in 93, there was the baseball strike in 94 that killed the Expos dream season, then they ended up leaving town a few years later, and the Habs had some pretty dry years during that time period. Things were looking up last year for Nos Glorieux but that kinda fell apart this year.

Anyway, it's not as bad as people make it out to be...I don't think they were as good as everyone says they were last year and they aren't as bad as everyone says they were this year.

At least there's no stress when I watch hockey games now lol!! I get so stressed out watching the habs in playoff games!!!!

i find MnM is tooo $$$ and no costca card here....picked up 4 cases of water today from no frills too @1.92/24 pack

lotsa little stufff to pik up, buns will be a big expense they were on last week @99cents a pack...shame tho its too far away
