Default Intakes - Does it void the warranty??

    Hey guys,

I want to get myself a good intake but worried about voiding my warranty. Anyone had it done while under warranty? After market suggestions? How much was the mazda intake?

if you get a "CEL" or damaged the MAF (due to an oiled air filter) or suck up water from a "puddle", none of those would be covered under warranty

If you install the Mazda intake - this will not void your warranty.
The only time aftermarket installation will affect your warranty coverage is if the part or workmanship DIRECTLY causes any damage to OEM components.
Other than that, go ahead. Intakes are very commonly installed on people's cars - really only when it's a mickey mouse job do you really come into problems.
