Default Wheee! Bomb/Hazardous lockdown at work...

So I work on the same floor as a chartered bank, who is apparently being locked down right now... Consequently, we have to stay in our offices

See, that's my logic... But apparently, they don't want us opening and closing doors, causing pressure differentials and spreading what could possibly be something airborne.

Translation? Stay in there and pray.

I know, i came back from break and cops wouldn't let me in. I had to call my boss to advise him I can't go back to work. LOL.

edit: i hope you're safe inside the building Jay.

no, not downtown, we're in Etobicoke.

^^^ Yeah, I came out to go to the washroom and was fully interrogated before being let go... Cops in body armor, people in haz-mat suits with wierd sensor devices, fire fighters, and 2 official-looking guys in trench coats and ear pieces.

Since I have an exam tonight, I had to make a run for it, down the stairs, from your side of the building Ash

I actually just found out that it was indeed an unidentified container of stuff that was discovered, and we wern't allowed to move around just in case we were contaminated. It kinda make sense, since the department on our floor is the credit and collections division.

oh so that's what they do on that side of the floor.

yeah, i had to sneak out from that stairs too. it's funny I call my boss and tell him I'm not allowed inside the floor and he's like "are you playing a prank on me?" LOL.
