Mazda 3 insurance cost per month ????

I thought females had lower rates.
I was 21/M/G2 no previous insurance/driving record and living in mid-toronto region (around yonge/eglinton)
And got quoted $256 a month by belairdirect.
Then again the insurance hike could be the reason

I have a full G been licenced since i was 16 and been on my parents insurance as a temp until last year had 1 at fault accident no tickets, complete coverage and i payed 540$/month for a full year and when my renewal came in just 2 weeks ago it dropped to 370$/month.

I'm being scammed...my dad got in an accident and we only have 2 cars now as opposed to 3 and he said my rate does not change even with 2 cars and I have to pay $300 a month being 23 and on a G for more than 3 years with no accidents except for a minor one that was not my fault and no tickets!
