Default New on the East Coast

    This is our third Mazda,
    Previously:
    1. 1994 626, 327000 km,
    2. 2004 M3 Sport GX, 214000 km

Picked up this 2010 GX 2L 5 spd in May and just swapped the stock steel wheels (will keep for winter) for alloys. Really happy with the improved fuel consumption over the '04 2.3L (don't have precise figures).

I've been searching this forum for a while and am impressed with the amount of knowledge available (really helpful when choosing the new rims).

Welcome to TM3 and congratulations on the purchase! Any other mods you have planned?

Welcome... it's so good that they got rid of that ugly-a$$ chrome bar on the front of the GX.
Looks like it's time to wash it!

    Thanks for the welcomes.

As for more mods - I'm really only interested in improving fuel economy and other than lighter wheels, there's not much you can change with hardware (at least cost effectively).
I had just washed the car the day before the pics and it rained that evening (and the car went out). I find that the Copper Red really shows up the dirt much more than the '04 which was Titanium Grey. So, WYSIWYG most days. But I'll endeavor to wash it more often.
