    Default MY '05 GT SEDAN

    Ello Everyone,

Haven't posted pics of the ride yet so thought I would post winter mode and then update in the spring/summer.

    '05 2.3GT Sedan Carbon Grey
    141.1 WHP & 141.8 Torgue

    List of mods:

    - Magna Flow CBE
    - Full CAI system
    - Eibach Pro kit springs
    - Short Shifter w carbon shift boot
    - Strut bar
    - GV style Front Lip
    - Kenstyle side skirts
    - Rear Flares
    - Open Mouth grill
    - Eye Lids
    - Roof Spoiler
    - Stubby Attenna
    - HID Lights
    - LED smoked side Markers
    - LED smoked 3rd brake light
    - LED smoked rear bumper deflector lights
    - LED interior + Licence plate lights
    - Mazda 3 cast iron pedals including dead pedal
    - RHO plate mount (not installed yet as I’m running with German front plate until I get caught lol)
    - 16” Mazda OEM rims powder coated flat black w Firestone winter rubber

Things I am looking to get/add this spring:

    - 18” DAI rims w low pro rubber (instead of the stock 17’s w all seasons I run in the summer)
    - Headers
    - Medium tint all around
    - Smoked headlights
    - Smoked LED taillights
    - Lip spoiler for trunk
    - Removal of all badging
    - Rear lower strut/Tie bar
    - Rear lip of some sort instead of the current flares
    - Caliper painting (color choice depends on type of rims I get)
    - Custom Valve cover painting
    - Engine bay accessory kit to match valve cover

FYI, interior is completely stock looking with leather of course except for the short shifter, shift boot, cast iron Mazda 3 pedals and the hidden iphone adapter. I like the stock look and it is in immaculate condition so why change it.

Thanks for looking and comments welcome as always

    Happy Motoring !

it's my car in my driveway...I'm a soccer freak and am half German half Ghanian so I had a big German flag fixed super tight to my hood during the last world cup...I've always done it no matter what car I've had....It's cheaper than having my hood painted lol

Thanks phil, medium tint as in I want to keep the whole theme of my car carbon grey with smoked everything else so % wise I don't know...it's been years and years since I did the tint thing....but I want them to be light enough to see inside a bit but dark enough to be noticable. If that makes any sense lol

Punkrockjohn, I went to a place in markham via Peter at nextmod. I believe it was called velocity sports but Peter could varify that for you. Nice people, good workmanship, and a hell of a lot of sexy ass cars coming in and out. Aalmost left a bit out of place jk

Anybody know where I can find a decent rear bumper that will match the skirts and lip? Last time I checked with Peter, nothing was doing

A solution can be to buy an 07-09 bumper and buy aftermarket rear flares for those. I know the rear flares for the 07-09 bumpers flare out more than the ones for 04-06

i inquired about that when i talked to joe. he said that it's not that easy since the foam behind the bumper will also have to be changed lol.

Edit: Misread original post, thought you had full kenstyle.
How much did the paint and install run you for the kenstyle skirts, if you don't mind me asking?

Paint for all added parts was free free free...When I bought the car from Downsview Auto (even though everyone seems to hate those guys and say they are shady, this being our second car from them with no problems except a bit of time delay in pick-up date) the deal was to bring whatever I wanted painted and they would do it. They had to repainted my hood anyway since there were stone chips and as returning customer this was my thank you untop of an unbeatable/uncomparable reduced pricing.

    WIN-WIN deal no?

As for install, I believe I paid $100 and they cut out portion of original sides to over lay skirts ontop. No complaints really except for the fact that 2 clips on the OEM sides are broken (through my own fault and attempting to do it myself prior) so in 2 spots the skirts are not 100% flush against the car. Can't really tell too much though unless you really look at it.

    Cheers
