Different areas within Toronto have different ratings, different alumni groups or professional associations get different discounts within Meloche. Within my household we could qualify as one of: Waterloo Alumni, Queens Alumni, PMI, or CGA. PMI gets the least discount, and CGA gets us the most. When we switched from using Waterloo Alumni to CGA, our rates dropped about 10% IIRC.

my insurance jumped from $200/mo to $375/mo just because i moved from mississauga to etobicoke..a 10km move and i get a $175 increase..FML

so i got the renewal papers..

im going from paying $375/mo to $225/mo. such a relief that my area is becoming less accident prone.
