What color is that on the wheels it looks like a really low end white :/ if that was pearl white i'd mayb buy them advan gold would be so sweet thog.

color is close to cappuccino.

overall... i spent $650 on garbage. FML

I think his best bet now is plastidip with clearcoat now. I don't see a point in putting it in storage when he can use it as daily rims.

I'm pretty sure Gabe won't want his show rims to get damaged through daily driving.

Might as well just get it painted - either rattle can or professionally. ($80+)
not sure how Plastipdip will hold up in the summer with a pressure washer - but even then you're still looking at approx $80-100
or go to metal coaters and pay 200-250

that's what i thought too. but this color was "hard to get" apparently. FRICK... i'm contemplating on pastidip.

Even though everyone feels bad that these didn't turn out... I would suggest you throw some rubber on em and see what they look like on the car...

This is a sad and ackward situation. The solutions presented also seem kind of strange.

When I had my wheels redone, I made sure I confirmed with samples what the outcome would be. Not sure what happened here but those are really unique wheels now. As The Biz said, maybe see what it looks like with some rumber and on the car.

Everyone, i am really thankful for your responses and concerns, but I am not going to respond to each one of them personally. at the end of the day, Quy is still awesome at what he does. mistakes DO HAPPEN, and vince (fobio) is correct - we're not posting our opinions for drama. Here's the positive to all this.

Biz has a point. If you like the rims on the car, you will have a rare cuppacino color.. (mmmm . cuppacino) that will be rare!

Again from our mini convo with Pierre he can only vinyl lips on rims not the rim itself.

good question. the color she had suggested (from the color book) that was similar to the advan gold was a 'silver gold'. that color DID look similar to the advan gold. but sadly... we can't jump to conclusion that the final result will look THE SAME 100%.

i've actually seen that before and sadly, the gold doesn't look like gold either. lol

below is a picture of the speed3 rims i currently have photoshopped onto my car. IMO ... we'll see what vinyl wrap will do :p
