No, 250 is the price with an additional clear coat. You got the same powder coat black as I did and it has a high gloss mixed in the powder.

For 250, Its a great deal.

We went through a couple pamphlets before we found the colour I wanted. We agreed on the price and the colour and how it was done and I left for work. Two days later, Taj emails me, saying the rims were done. I picked them up and I was amazed at how they turned out...

I definitely can't wait till spring now...
Good Color choice. Glad you enjoy his work. He's not perfect but for that price, you can afford to change up your rims every few years for the cost that some places charge just for one.

Plus they do hold up - regardless of what some might say...

Ah, ok that makes sense. So far the rims are holding up nicely.

Other than the one chip that I caused, they're still mint. No damage from salt/winter weather conditions. Not bad for $200.

He quoted me $250 for the bronze without clear coating. It was an additional $80 to clear coat them, which is not bad at all!

This throws me off. Unless it's a special color u shouldn't be paying more than what I and the others pay. Unless there's some extra work to be done or something we don't know about I can't justify this. Let your opinion be heard and tell him why u should pay more when others didn't.

I paid $200.00 but my black paint already had a high gloss mixed in, so a clear coat was not necessary... He told me if you want clear, its $50.00 more, so total would be $250.00

Well, black was one of my options and he also quoted me at $200. I guess it's the colour? I'm not going to bother asking though, lol.

I dropped off my new rims at MetalCoaters last Thursday. I will post a review when I get them back.

LOL that's the first thing I did after I took the pic I was just to lazy to take another.

The other thing I meant to comment on was the "total finish" of these rims.

All of the small areas even behind the spokes were done fantastically. I can't comment enough about how good these are.
