    Default Need New QUIETER tires

I have an 08 Speed3. Last summer my tires were super loud and only have 30,000 km on them. The tread is going so for a few reasons I need new ones.

I do not care about "performance" but really need a quieter set than the original Potenzas.

I am thinking General Exclaim UHF but I am open to suggestions.

    First post BTW.

The tires been loud might have been cause do to bad aligment. I know this happened to me I got an aligment done and replaced the tires as I could not take how loud they were.

I bought BFGoodrich ( I can't rember the exact model cause their in my shed but these tires are excellent in the rain and dry and their very quiet.

Once I get home I will check what model they are

    Welcome to TM3.

However, you have a Speed3 and you don't care about performance in a tire?

no decent sport tire for some good sticky grip? Why not? i am sure there are some very good performance tires that are not "loud" zoom zoom boy what would you suggest? also send Pereira11 a pm and ask him what he thinks, he has had his far share of cars i bet he could direct you a bit better

I've never had a really quiet performance tire. They are all louder than your average Sport, or all-season touring tire. Maybe just me, but I can't imagine putting a touring tire on an MS3 and then going into full boost. The tire squirm would be unbearable.

The Falken Ziex912 would be a pretty good choice. It's pretty much a summer tire although classified as an all-season and gives decent enough performance on an MS3 if you don't push it near the limit. It's also affordable. I wouldn't say it's a super quiet tire, but an improvement over the stock Potenza's on the gen1's and the Dunlop's on the gen2.

A tire sponsor could probably be of more help than I can.

The Falken ZE912 is a good option for sure. Also, the Yokohama Envigor
