Went to the jays game this afternoon. Second inning Jim thome fouls off into the second deck along the third base line. Ball is coming to my area so I stand up to try and catch it. It goes over my head by 12 feet or so hits the bottom of the section above us and comes straight down off my noggin and into the 100 level below.
I was the only one standing in the section so everyone saw it occur.

It did a few years back. It's at about 1.10/L in Alberta vs 1.30/L right now.

Because the oil has to be sent elsewhere (like Texas) to be refined into usable fuel then send back up to Canada. They can't just get it out of the ground and put it in your gas tank.

True, but with no HST (Only 5% GST), you can knock another 8% off the price of gas. Topped off with the fact that there are refineries in Alberta, I think those 2 factors would definitely make it cheaper. So it is true, some of the gas doesn't actually have to travel as far.

I've also heard that in Ontario and East, it is possible that we get gas from the middle east and African nations as well, now transporting those would be long distance, the cost of fuel to transport itself is pretty high I'd imagine.

BC, Saskabush and Manitoba all have more expensive gas compared to Alberta.

theres a huge refinery near the airport, like the petro plant in oakville.

my boss goes "i love driving past the refineries. why? because it smells like money.

i went to mazda for the 1 year service where they rotate your tires, etc., now there seems to be an increase of road noise especially when the car is slowing down, it never happened before the service, has anyone else have this issue, it is very frustrating.

Your rear, now front tires are probably pooched, or have uneven wear.
Either that, or its brake noise you're hearing.

I asked Real Sports on Feb 10th when they taking reservations for the PPV, on that date via twitter and confirmed by phone they told me April 8th (3 weeks out as per normal policy)...all of a sudden they decided to change it end of Feb (with me no knowledge of the change) and I wake up to find out it was changed to today and I'm S.O.L. and left scrambling...

I even screenshot'd and sent it to em and they said to me basically (this is paraphrased) "we are sorry that you didnt know about the change but it was publicly announced (the change/date) and there is standing room with entrance fee of $20 and also reservations for pre-fight available" aka "too bad so sad, you're S.O.L."
