I love it; I am assuming it is the 2.3 motor but tweaked with turbo? hmmmmmmm.....
I looooove the key for this thing too.
Anyone know where they are built?

The CX-7 has the same motor as the MazdaSpeed6 except that it\'s tuned to about 244hp. In the Wheels section of the Star today they said that the car is pretty much a Mazda6 from the firewall forward, indicating that the V6 from the 6 might just drop right in. The car is a Mazda3 from the firewall back. Having said that, I have no idea where it\'s built.

    CX-9

Mazda CX-9: Mazda has already confirmed the CX-7, the production version of the MX-Crossport concept car, but it has another, larger crossover-style vehicle on the way as well. The CX-9 is Mazda\'s pitch at the R-Class sector and will replace the slow-selling MPV in the US as Mazda gives its range an image overhaul. No word as yet on whether it\'ll officially come to Europe and the UK. The CX-9 and CX-7 will also render the Tribute SUV redundant.

Seating: The CX-9 will have three rows of seats, accommodating up to seven. It is to be built, like the five-seat CX-7, on a lengthened version of the Mazda6 platform, which it will share with the upcoming Ford Edge and newly-launched Lincoln Aviator crossovers.

Engines: Like the Edge, it will be powered by the new Ford 3.5-litre V6 engine (250bhp and 240lb ft of torque), with a new six-speed automatic gearbox. No news of a diesel, but the platform and powertrain are said to be hybrid-compatible.

Unveiling: Mazda is expected to unveil the CX-9 at the New York Auto Show next spring, with sales following in late 2006 or early 2007. US-market versions may be built in Oakville, Ontario, alongside the Edge, though it will also be made in Japan - meaning that right-hand-drive versions will be produced.

    The price is right too.

Starting at $32,000 for the base CX-7. The GT models start at $35,000 plus.

Not bad for all the features you get.

Is this meant to replace the Tribute? If so, I think Mazda will be missing out on an important entry level SUV segment. They need a good mini-ute to compete against the likes of the RAV4, CRV, Xterra, etc.

Well, I saw a CX-& on the road on Friday at lunch right by Mazda Head Office. It was definately a production model finished in a light bluish colour. Looked pretty good, but I was zooming past it and didn\'t get the best look.

So that\'s your white 3 parked all the way near the exit.

Probably not, my 3 can\'t be seen from the 404 or 16th, but from Leslie street just north of East Beaver. There are so many damn white 3\'s in the area I\'m surprised I get into the right car at night arc
