you can get Raceland coilovers for under $500. i have Vmaxx on mine, but after a couple years, one of my strut bodies is leaking.
also, if you plan on going really low, you're going to have to remove your front sway bar haha. i got bored once, and spun my coils all the way down. it rubbed sooooo much haha

Yeah I know a buddy that went from streetlines coilovers to raceland's not too long ago. I could get em for a lil less but can't just yet...

We made ok with the yard sale, didn't rain until after 3pm!

Today I was able to wash truck, armor all the wheel wells, detailed the rims, waxed it twice, waxed the door jams, installed my LED load resistors on each turn signal (4), put all my LED bulbs back in, detailed the engine bay.

Good way to spend 10hours

Sent purchase and installation receipts for my Koni Sports and Eibach Prokits over to my insurance agent, who again confirmed he is OK with the modification and there will be no change in premiums either.

Not the lowest rates on the market, but I'm more than happy to pay the extra amount for this kind of flexibility/service.

That said, I think their complacency has more to do with the fact that my family (my parents, and now myself) have been with them for a very long time (25+, maybe 30ish years now?), for multiple services. I'd imagine anyone that's been with the same agent for such a period gains a certain amount of leeway when it comes to requests.

My parents were/are with State Farm for over 30 years with no claims or tickets (hard to believe eh haha) and I was on them when I still lived at home.

When I got my 3 (over 4 years ago now) they wanted over $500 a month to insure me, eff that, so much for customer/family loyalty.

My dad got my MS3 put down to "comprehensive only" coverage, which will be $3 a month he said.

He also said that he was told if the financing company "objects" it will have to be put back to full coverage. If that happens in the next couple days then I will be back to driving my MS3 as I cannot pay for insurance on two cars. That's completely contradictory to what I want to do, driving my Tercel instead of my MS3. We'll see what happens.

I don't see the Financing company objecting, aslong as the vehicle is 'Stored' and not being driven, then fire and theft is all the coverage you should need...Aslong as there's no earthquake lol.

@alhope34 - Should be exactly like winter-storing a car, so as mentioned I don't expect you'll get any trouble from your agent.

May raise a few eyebrows that it's being stored in the summer and indefinitely, but as mentioned, they have a procedure for that already in place.
