Sort of heading in that direction. Gotta get it roadworthy first.
Just put in a huge parts order for this car, and also picked up a cheap racing seat. Shame the seat colour is bright blue. Ohh well, Function > Form.

Holds you in place way better than the stock seat. Going to look really weird in the car though because it does not match the car at all.

What did you order?
By the looks of things shifter bushings should have been on that list.I suggest the oem SSK I think its Z3 parts but it's been awhile.
Only thing on an ol'skool Euro has to be ATS Cups!!!!!

They are cheaper than you think manParts are surprisingly inexpensive if you order online. I ordered everything from www.autopartsway.ca and it wasn't bad at all. I'd say all in all, maybe budget around $1500? Mine sort of just happened, and I didn't really plan for it.

There was that white set for sale. They are sold now, but too bad one of the rims was cracked or else I would have picked them up.
Going to run the stock motor until it dies, then consider a swap later.

Lol running an eta motor until it dies can be a battle of attrtition. Mine had over 300 thousand miles on it, then I chipped it. Still didn't die.
