Painted my calipers today with VHT Fire Red Metallic engine paint. Not as deep of a red as I'd hoped, but I'm happy. Took a couple BB pics as well... Really need a camera.
She goes in for tint tomorrow, and a spoiler install later this week

Yeah I called them this morning and since it's only an hour of shop time they can basically fit you in whenever. I'm doing both tomorrow (tint at 9am, spoiler at 11am).
I've done so much more this summer then I'd planned. Its amazing how much disposable income you have when you break up with your girlfriend lol

Mine will be there at least 4 hours with powersteering. But good to have the spoiler last, they might bump your service back an hour.. Honestly though, their pretty good. He still remembered me when I called today since that happened a couple weeks back now.

Haha, and I had better stay single, I'd hate to be torn between the two. Damn deals though, If it weren't for them Id be about 3 mods back .

Also been meaning to ask, PlastiDipped grill?

So how'd you get that clean line without doing the whole grill? May use your technique if I do my hood.

I used painter's tape to mask off what I didn't want painted, and then after the plasti-dip was dry, cut along it lightly with an x-acto blade. I'm not brave enough to try that on my hood haha

I just assumed that would tare it rather than cut it... Can I borrow yours, mines probably too dull haha. I'll do a test run on cardboard or something and see what happens! Thanks!

Here's a quick pic showing off my latest mods:

VHT Fire Red Metallic calipers (decals coming soon lol) Tinted 20%, Red tails and GT spoiler. Mudflaps are resigned to winter mode.

Somebody with skills shoot my car please

Thinking of getting spacers to poke the wheels out a little more and will apply the Mazda decals to the calipers next time I'm in the mood to take my wheels off. Other than that, I think I'm done for the summer. Next summer I'm thinking I'll get my rims refinished, grab some coils and finally get that new bumper.

Oh yeah, almost forgot... Eyelids are on their way and I'm going to give the DAMD lip another shot, maybe this weekend.

Decided to sit down this morning and jb weld my lip. I let it set up and installed it, and got this:

This time I took my bumper off to install it and it was really quite easy to get a good fit by myself
